Megachip partnered with NEC Computers Asia Pacific in 2002. The partnership has greatly contributed to success of Megachip. Megachip markets and sells NEC products and solutions in the Maldives and offers international warranty services to NEC products.

Established in 1994, Megachip is privately owned and managed by professionals with vast industry experience who belong to the same family. To stay competitive in the dynamic business world, Megachip invests heavily in the development of human resources and infrastructure.

The multi-location uninterrupted operations of Megachip is managed by the head office located in the Capital Male’ through its award-winning showroom, office express, service centre and sales office.

In recognition of its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation, Megachip was awarded International Quality Summit Gold Award 2007, held at New York, from Business Initiative Directions (BID), the European Foundation for Quality Management.

Megachip received NECCAP S&SEA Frontrunner Partner award, Best Market Share Performance award 2006 and was selected as a role-model by NEC Asia Pacific.
